Review of Only You (1994) by Kristen S — 12 Aug 2008
To be fair, I hate 97% of romance films, simply because I think the characters are either annoying and overly cliche, or because the characters are so flat and foreign to the viewer that I simply don't care.
This one, however, won me over. The plot is a bit thin, and it's somewhat farfetched, but something about the entire point of the story and the characters (Kate, Faith and Peter, to be exact) make this one work really well. You actually care, and root for the characters.
