Review of Only You (1994) by Jean Jean C — 14 Feb 2009
I don't know why I didn't realize that Norman Jewison, who directed "Moonstruck" also directed this wonderful little gem. I saw this in college and have loved it eversince. Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey, Jr.
have amazing chemistry in this movie, but I thought the supporting cast is what makes this movie a rarity. Bonnie Hunt is nothing less than hilariously heartbreaking in this film. Once you get over the cheesy lines, you find yourself chuckling for all the movie was worth.
Not to mention the fact the movie was shot on location was GREAT. Italy is beautiful.
