Review of Only the Valiant (1951) by Paul D — 28 May 2009
Peck leads a disparate group of ill-disciplined cavalry troopers against an Apache uprising. During the defence of a remote fort, both the good and the seemier side of these soldiers is unravelled. Pretty average as a western, but is ahead of it's time in its unflattering portrayals of so many of it's leading characters.
