Good: Action sequences showcase the art of Capoeira well. The action sequences are interesting, despite being limited to one martial art (where as most other films have choreographers who can borrow from many martial arts).
Bad: Oh, jeeze! The plot! The acting! Nothing is redeeming in this movie as far as story goes. It's no small wonder nobody in this film made it to big time Hollywood status. My love of this movie comes strictly from the showcasing of Capoeira, an art I happen to study. But, friends, we can do better than this!!! We need a new movie about Capoeira! For those who have no idea what Capoeira is and want to learn more, you may want to check this film out.
