Review of Only the Brave (2017) by Liamexe — 22 Dec 2022
Every day, firefighters put their lives in danger to save others, and in 2013, the valiant Granite Mountain Hotshots did the same. This is one of those great movies that succeeds on every front imaginable.
In every way, I adored the movie. The film was produced intentionally sentimental by director Joseph Kosinski, who also made sure that the audience would cry at the film's climax. Josh Brolin, Miles Teller, and the rest of the actors performed admirably in the film.
The movie's idea was already fantastic; Joseph Kosinski merely needed to polish it, which he did admirably. You don't want to look away from the screen for more than a few seconds since the movie is too addicting in its own way.
