Adding on briefly, and addressing the nay-sayers that claim the film is about nothing.. This film is about artists and what it means to be an artist on an eternal (or at least really, really long) scale / scope of time.

The role of vampire here is not necessarily to create a horror piece, but rather to act as a vessel for this very interesting look at eternal artistry. Many may have watched this to be entertained by vampires, which is fine, but to help prepare you for the film.
