Only Lovers Left Alive is not a horror nor a thriller, it a wicked take on the vampire genre. It is melancholic, dreary and gothic, so obviously it is not for everyone. However, the film is beautifully shot, with an outstanding soundtrack and wonderful performances from all the actors.
Only Lovers Left Alive is one of the best films of the year.
