Review of Only Lovers Left Alive (2013) by Private U — 20 Mar 2014
Ultra cool old vampires, meandering story. I love the music in this and of course it's a big part. I've always found Tom Hiddleston's acting a bit awkward and it still is here, I can't take to his 'way' if you want to call it that but I still sort of like him.
Like I said, the story is meandering, it's not like this definitive plot, you just sort of follow these interesting characters around as they go through this strange vampire life. There's a lot of dark laughs here, some of the delivery is a little off (Tom Hiddleston, i'm looking at you) but overall this was okay.
It's not something i'd watch again straight away but maybe in a few years time i'd like to see what I think of it again.
