Review of Only Lovers Left Alive (2013) by Alex G — 13 Apr 2014
The acting, set design, music and such are endlessly captivating, but I wonder if there was any real story to tell here. More than anything, we live with these characters for a small time and then the film ends.
Some of the "famous people" name-dropping is a bit overdone, but the film itself did what it set out to. I didn't like or dislike it.
