Review of Only Lovers Left Alive (2013) by Thaddeus M — 28 Aug 2014
Jarmusch creates an interesting look and feel for the film, but it's laborious pacing makes it hard to get through after an hour. The second hour just drags and drags. The performances from Swinton and Hiddleston are good, but also become tiresome by the end.
Glad I saw it for its niche, artistic filmmaking value, but I doubt I'll ever watch it again. There's just no plot or real story to grab onto.
