Only Lovers Left Alive is a breathtaking and mesmerizing romantic vampire film. Everybody in the cast is fantastic and brings lots of presence to their characters that are well written and have excellent chemistry.
A slow and somber pacing and tone help match the films beautiful direction that is phenomenal from start to finish. While the narrative seems simplistic it's told with such a unique twist it holds your attention from beginning to end.
An absolutely masterful score helps enhance many of the films emotional cores.
