For Adam the worst thing about being Immortal is boredom. Unhappy with the direction humanity has taken Adam contemplates suicide while obsessively avoiding the 'zombies' of the human world. Once reunited with his centuries old lover, Eve, she and Adam roam the desolate Detroit night viewing its' emptiness as only two vampire lovers can.
Only Lovers Left Alive takes a new and interesting view at the vampire genre that is both insightful and thought provoking.
