DaMMMnnn!! this movie is nasty., there is some pretty intense violence in this movie, does it help the movie??... I guess it suits its dark tones and neon lights. This is a very stylish movie and it does give us something different, it moves away from the usual story telling method, with sometimes giving us visions of what is going on in the main characters head (Ryan Gosling).

I liked the fact that I couldn't tell where this was going and I have to say I did get a little tired of the slow-mo moving... but yeah, I wasn't quite sure how to feel about this movie when it finished.

I didn't hate it though...but its nasty...in a 80's harsh violence kinda way. Not for the faint of heart.
