First off, it has NOTHING to do with the first Ong Bak. Having said that, I like it a whole lot more than the first Ong Bak. The style and tone is much darker and grittier. Hell, the whole movie is just f***ing brutal.
First Ong Bak, he mostly just hurt people. Ong Bak 2, he cripples and kills. There's a lot of "holy s***" moments. It's an amazing and thoroughly enjoyable piece of martial arts greatness.
