Basically another typical Tony Jaa film. If you love Tony Jaa, you will love this movie. I love Tony Jaa. He is a great martial artist and great performer. Their is one thing that everyone has to agree on.
Most, if not all, martial art films' premise/storyline are nothing fantastic. Every martial art film is the same. It's the performance that I believe people go for. I am actually watching the movie right now and I am not impressed except with the choreagraphy of the fight scenes and Tony Jaa kicking ass and taking names.
The acting is awful (like all Tony Jaa films), the storyline isn't great (like all Tony Jaa films), but at the same time it's an entertaining movie. Here is my question....why is it called "Ong Bak 2"? Nothing is relevant to the predecessor.
If you love martial art films, go for this movie! If you're going for storyline/acting, don't hold your breath. Tony Jaa, although, is wonderful.
