Review of Ong Bak 2 (2008) by Dan B — 03 Feb 2010
I now believe the rumors that making this movie drove Tony Jaa insane. It nearly drove me insane just watching it and I wasn't even paying very close attention.
All that aside, the cinematography is impressive and many of the fights (they are numerous and belligerent) are excellent. The last 20-30 minutes comes to mind. There's also an entertaining drunken boxing thing about half way through.
Definitely worth a viewing for martial arts fans, just keep some antipsychotics on hand.
