Ong Bak 2 is brilliant! Tony Jaa and Jeeja Yanin are world-class martial arts actors, but until this movie I've felt that Mr. Jaa's moves required a vehicle with a better narrative. Mind you, I'm well aware that the story is secondary in a martial arts film, but a certain standard is still required.
I like the story in this film even if liberties were taken with historical accuracy. It's a showcase of various martial arts styles and Tony's extraordinary skill. And it's his grace and power, after all, that we're really here to see.
And again, he delivers - in spades.
