(1932) One Way Passage.
ROMANCE/ DRAMA.
Fugitive William Powell as Dan escaping to a Cruise Ocean Liner and gets captured by one of the law enforcement sent to bring him back to San Franciso, USA and be tried. While their, he meets Kay Francis as Joan, who is supposed to be dying from something, and he sacrifices a few attempts of escaping for his affections to her! Won an Oscar for Best Writing for Original story. This film was remade again in 1939 called "Til We Meet Again" with Merle Oberon and George Brent reusing actor Frank McHugh again for coemdy relief! Soap opera material that could've been better!
