Review of One Spy Too Many (1966) by David G — 17 Mar 2009
Another chance to join our favourite U.N.C.L.E.s. Also known as "The Alexander the Greater Affair" parts one and two, this sees meglomaniac business man Alexander (Rip Torn) steal a top secret nerve gas from the US Army - not only that but he's also breaking each one of the ten commandments on his path to world domination.
However he hasn't reckoned on Illya Kuryakin (David McCallum) and Napolean Solo (Robert Vaughn) and perhaps worst of all, his ex-wife (Dorothy Provine). As always this was originally a two-part TV show, shorn of various titles and recombined with additonal footage, it's a stylish adn fun way to spend 90 minutes.
