If one sets out to make a movie about a pivotal Biblical character, do your homework. First, I doubt very much that the King loved Esther. The confusing love story reduces Esther's act of incredible bravery and faith to manipulation.
The casting is strange. For example, Tiny Lister (Deebo of Friday Fame), plays a eunuch. A eunuch? I don't think so. A better Biblical character movie is "Joseph", a made for tv movie produced by TBS, I believe.
