Review of One Night with the King (2006) by Julia P — 06 Dec 2007

This movie was more lighthearted than I'd expected...more like a Hallmark movie than an epic Biblical story. I think the musical score had much to do with it, but especially some of the actors. Having Gimli as Mordecai was.

..hmm. Haman was more goofy than evil (his evil glare made me crack up at times), and Xerxes evoked thoughts of a tanned cowboy with eyeliner. :P However, I DID ENJOY THE MOVIE. Just not as much as the wonderfully authentic Nativity Story.
