I like the story of Esther as much as the next person, but allow me as an Iranian let me say:
Persians =/= Arabs.
Esther =/= Arab queen.
The people who made this customs for this movie completely FAILED. The king of persia from 2000 years ago doesn't dress like Arabs from 1000 years ago. I'm not even going to adress the crappy acting etc. etc. They could've made something wonderful and impressive but instead fell into a realm of stereotypes that anyone with a small knowledge of history would notice and be bothered. Totally took any pleasure out of the movie...
