Review of One Missed Call (2008) by Sean E — 16 Jul 2009

Not worth the effort to watch, the characters are dull, the premise is decent but completely overshadowed by The Ring. It feels very disjointed and lame and wanders off into cliché mental patient/dead girl ghost thingy with a grudge manifested into some damned insane ghostly evil.

It also ends on one of those "why did I bother?" ridiculous endings that just shocks you with how pathetic and dull it was. Oh and as well as being heavily ring inspired with its techno death idea it also implements the slayings with a final destination sense of dread.

.....which could be deemed as a positive thing but its just rather boringly handled with no imagination. I'm aware this is a remake, like 90% of these movies, I'm certain that the original is better.
