I thought the plot was intriguing enough for me to *not* watch it from midway into the movie (and instead rent the dvd for later viewing). But after watching the second half I realised - it tries real hard.
The scares, the acting (or lack thereof?), the effects - sounds mostly - were alright. Not the best though.
