Not nearly as bad as the rap it got, but nothing to write home about either, "One Missed Call" operates with a subtlety that acts as the film's strength and weakness simultaneously. While not resorting to cheap scare tactics is somewhat refreshing, the film doesn't quite know how to scare without them in several places.
Overall, it's a decent attempt.
