It wasn't a "jumpy" scary movie, but more of a "gory" scary movie and also one that made you guessing who the killer was until the end. I had heard of the American remake before I had seen this, and loved the idea of recieving a phone call of yourself from the future.
Especially when you say the words you heard your future self say before you died.
