A very good J-Horror offering from Takashi Miike. This would have got 5 stars if it didn't so knowingly borrow & improve on every well known J-horror. It is a very good hybrid of Ringu, Ju-on, Phone but with it's own twists & turns to keep you watching.
One of the most effective atmospheric horrors I've seen in a very long time. I advise any asian cinema fan to warch this & not spot the tongue in cheek steals... I especially like the homage to Dark Water.
It's not the easiest movie to come by but is available at a very reasonable price online @ dddhouse.
