Review of One Million Years B.C. (1966) by Kenneth B — 09 Oct 2012
This has to be one of Hammers more ambitious fillms, perhaps too much so for the time. The first couple of scenes that contain dinosaurs are incredibly dated but as the film progresses it does begin to look the part until it actually looks quite impressive.
Also it is commendable that they made a 100 minute film that has no discernible dialogue. This is a flawed film but it's also quite an entertaining one for the right frame of mind.
