Review of One Hundred and One Dalmatians (1961) by Bryan K — 07 Feb 2011
One of my favorite Disney movies growing up. As an adult, I'm amazed at the animation style and photographic technique the Disney artists used for this film. The humor and heart provides plenty of sophistication for adults to enjoy as much as kids.
One of Disney's rare non-musical pictures, and a classic that will always be remembered. Cruella DeVil is pure flamboyance and hysteria. Entirely storyboarded by Disney story veteran Bill Peet.
