Review of One from the Heart (1982) by Huub V — 08 Mar 2008
Perhaps the stranges Francis Ford Coppolla. "One From The Heart" does not attempt to fullfill anything outside of Coppolla's idea (much like Sofia Coppolla's brilliant "Marie Antonet").
It's an off beat musical, featuring songs by Tom Waits that carry us through the film. One must hand it to Coppolla for having the guts to go through with such an idea and make it work.
