Review of One for the Money (2012) by Kimberly B — 20 May 2012

This was mostly pretty bad, but I actually expected it to be worse so . . . I guess maybe that's why I gave it 2 stars instead of the 1 it probably deserves. Katherine Heigl is pretty but somehow always off-putting: there's something about her I dislike but can't put my finger on what it is.

She also was very hard to buy in this role; she seems incredibly miscast. Still, there were some moderately entertaining bits, and I like Sherri Shepard enough that her few brief appearances on-screen improved the whole movie for me.

If you are stuck for hours on a plane & this is an option (as was the case for me), it is worth a try for the 2nd or 3rd movie of the ride . . . or definitely a better choice than Ghost Protocol which I stopped watching (it was so bad) in favor of this (which was better, believe it or not).
