This wasn't a bad movie, really, it just didn't know what it wanted to be. When it was serious and dealing with the plot of a potential bad cop, it was actually pretty decent. When it tried to be a comedy, it wasn't funny and felt very forced.
Heigl wasn't really up for the accent, and it showed. But other than that, she was decent in the role. I did not like O'Mara as Morelli, and felt he had little chemistry with Heigl. Reynolds also hit a few sour notes and the grandmother.
I guess the good thing is that the movie made me interested to read the book, so I will.
