Review of One for the Money (2012) by Sandra G — 11 Jul 2012

I've read and liked these books but avoided the movie based on bad reviews until today and I thought it was pretty good. It may be that you have to know the characters already as I do agree that there could have been more intense suspense, but otherwise I'm happy to see a movie with no sex or violence - just hints.

I liked the acting, Katherine Heigl did a decent job. I do agree that they should have had an Italian looking actor for Morelli, and Ranger should have had a Cuban accent. Sherry Shepherd as Lula came across a tad bland but she was all right.

All in all I thought it was all right, don't feel like I wasted my money at all.
