Unemployed and desperate, Katherine Heigl's character, Stephanie goes to her weird cousin Vinnie for work. She becomes a bails-person and soon pursues Joe Morelli, who is a former vice cop and who is wanted for murder, and who also dropped the relationship between him and Stephanie in their high school past.
Based on the novel by Janet Evanovich, One For The Money attempts to be a romantic comedy with action and for popcorn fare, well, director Julie Anne Robinson does fine. Katherine Heigl, Daniel Sunjata and Joe Morelli ar fun to watch.
