Review of One for the Money (2012) by Crober72 — 30 Jan 2012
Only sat through this one because my wife is a huge fan of the books. Based on reviews, I expected to be gouging my eyes out within the first 10 minutes (like I do w/ the Twilight flicks I've been forced to watch).
I won't be watching it a 2nd time, and really thinking I'll suggest she sees any sequels with friends rather than her husband. That said, this wasn't nearly as awful as some of the reviews would have you believe.
It's predictable, not sure how to balance the reality of the story with the desire to be lighthearted and fun. Maybe my tolerance is due to the fact that my wife has been watching Twilight movies on an endless loop lately, and this wasn't as bad as those films.
But for what this was intended to be, I don't think it was the worst way to spend 90 minutes.
