I've been intending to see this movie for over four years now and it was amazing. A complex story of hope in a place where all have abandoned it. Nicholson brings some cheer to those around him and inspires one to finally get out.
It's a fantastic movie even where you feel both joy and sadness from the ending. They sure don't make 'em like this anymore.
