Review of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) by Logan A — 06 Jul 2012
At times the film is absolutely brilliant, but unfortunately at others it seems to meander pointlessly or lose focus on anything relevant.
That being said, it's fantastic movie with a timeless message and concept that's filled with stellar performances from all involved, especially from Nicholson and Fletcher. At times uplifting and other times extremely somber, it's a dramatic roller-coaster filled with laughs, conflicts and frustrations.
It won't be everyone's cup of tea, but it's an enduring classic that should at least be considered by everyone for at least one sit-through. In all likelihood you'll be happy you did.
