The acting in this movie is perfect. It managed to stay true with the book without being a carbon copy of it. What more could you ask for? I think the only way to have improved this movie would've been a better Billy.
Don't get me wrong, Billy was AMAZING, as I said, the acting is the standout here, but Bud Cort was originally contacted about the role and no offence, but he would've done a much better job, I think.
