One may have started to wonder why a film like this managed to win the esteemed Big 5 with its simple nature at first, before it later reveals that it has manipulated its audience to feel a real, true attachment to a group of mental patients, as well as a deep hatred for Nurse Ratched, who became Louise Fletcher's best performance, particularly with how effective she clashes with Jack Nicholson, who too outdid himself again.
