Review of One False Move (1991) by Hugo S — 09 Sep 2010
â??One False Moveâ?? is one of the movies that you think the story and setting is simple but after watching it, you would look at this movie way over different than the first thought of it. Well, as I said the story is about two criminals on the run with the law with a black girl after a homicide. What I like in this film is that you get to focus more and more to these character's feelings, emotions than what is going on. The acting of all of the actors here just got it right, the tone, mood is very perfect and fit to every scene there is as well as being unpredictable as you wouldn't expect what will happen to these people afterwards. Though it reminded me of â??Bonnie and Clydeâ?? and â??Thelma and Louiseâ??, this one is very structural and masterfully done because this is not just about a film about criminals on the run with the cops, this is all about the nature and (??????) of what is going on in the movie.
Out of all the movies I've seen, this one will be forgotten but the way it was filmed and made is very unique and very advanced. It is 100% one of the best films of the 1990's especially the year 1992 along with some films like â??Unforgivenâ?? and â??Malcolm Xâ??.
