Review of One False Move (1991) by Don S — 27 Nov 2011
Overly simplistic, slowly paced storyline with absolutely no surprises (the big reveal was telegraphed ahead of time), very little buildup of tension, and hardly any character development. The acting is above average, and the dialogue is well written and believable.
Racially themed movies are not really my thing - we're all people in my book - and just like Monster's Ball (also starring Thornton) the racial tension and interracial relationships ring hollow.
The ending is decent and makes it worth a look.
