Review of One Eight Seven (1997) by * Trilogy * — 26 Jun 2007
Samuel L. Jackson has shown once again why he is one of the world's best actors. After being stabbed multiple times by a student in a Brooklyn High School; this Science teacher(S. Jackson) decides to pick up his roots and move them out west to California for a fresh start in his life.
He receives a new assignment and he has to substitute for a teacher in a gang-run school. His new pupils make it terribly hard for him as he tries to teach them the course work. As a result, it provokes a deadly situation between the gang members and the teacher.
The police code 187 in California means murder. Excellent film! I won't giveaway anymore information it's too good.
