Review of One Direction: This Is Us (2013) by Dowdy R — 11 Sep 2013
One Direction is officially movie stars now, thanks to their new film One Direction: This Is Us. And I couldn't be more thrilled, because: the movie is good. In fact it is unbelievable, and I adored every second of it.
You might think that you know everything there is to know about the boys, but you'll certainly discover a few new facts as well as getting to know them even better. Plus just one viewing of this film will convert your parents, friends and siblings, and explain to them exactly why you love One Direction.
Fans of the biggest boy band in the world will need no encouragement to watch a documentary that brings them up close and more-or-less personal with their youthful heroes. The big surprise here is that even non-fans should find themselves warming to the five lads in the group.
The film follows the band as they travel the world on their tour, and gives you a glimpse into what their lives are really like. As well as the behind the scenes footage, there's also plenty of 3D concert performances that will get you super pumped.
The amount of humor, music, and good looking boys are just right in this movie. Seeing that these five boys are just like the ones you know and see everyday is heartwarming. Multiple scenes of the boys family members talking about how their fame has completely changed their lives forever is both depressing and amazing.
Unlike other bands and artists, One Direction doesn't need to try and look good. Once you see this movie, you will know that for yourself. You wont be able to resist.
