Review of One Direction: This Is Us (2013) by Rico F — 23 Oct 2013
Whilst this isn't the best documentary focused on artists in the Music industry that I have ever seen, it does a pretty good job at building a clearer picture of the rise to stardom of One Direction.
Having not known anything about them before, it definitely succeeded in its job of making you understand more about the group. Would have been interesting to see more of their music featured as well as maybe some more background about their path/upbringing before their audition.
The lady that is interviewed throughout gets rather repetitive and annoying. Simon Cowell should have replaced her to really give this documentary star-quality. Not a bad watch though to be fair.
