The human voice is God's greatest instrument and opera is the ultimate expression of that instrument. This film celebrates that. It can't be bad. The chemistry between James Corden and Alexandra Roach is marvelous.
It's so great to see Julie Walters and Colm Meaney. Of course it's formulaic and feel good, but it's very well done and the love story holds you. You also find yourself rooting hard for Paul.
I laughed and cried with joy. You cannot ask for much more from a film.
