Review of Once Upon a Time in Venice (2017) by Shawn R — 23 Jul 2017
Partly inspired by both John Wick and The Big Lebowski, yet nowhere near as well made or immersive. Cullen's directorial debut isn't as bad as most reviews are saying but it isn't great either.
Performances are good, Willis showcases his range a little bit with some great charisma but his character has little depth. That's really it aside from a strange and irrelevant John Goodman character that had something about it but ultimately wasted.
