Review of Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) by Minh V — 11 Nov 2012
A masterpiece from acting, music to directing. Never before I've enjoyed quietness in a movie so much. Charles Bronson and Henry Fonda mannerism and demeanor are a pleasure to spectate. Claudia Cardinale was beautiful.
The long shots, the close ups were executed so perfectly and elegantly. This film is about man's solitude and self-control. It's about man's principles and how he would do to abide to them.
This is when the word "epic" most suited a film.
