Review of Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) by Sujan S — 01 May 2014
Perhaps the greatest western of all time, Once Upon a time in the West is Sergio Leone's epic masterpiece and features what is possibly the greatest performance given by Charles Bronson in his career.
With an against-type performance by Henry Fonda (which is scary, because his performance as the murderous Frank is just as spellbinding as his good guys) , an outstanding performance by Jason Robards, the sensational beauty of Claudia Cardinale, and accompanied by a ground-breaking score written and performed by the legendary Ennio Morricone, Once Upon a time in the West is one of the finest films ever made.
