Review of Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) by Matt P — 07 Sep 2010
Pure, masterful movie making by Sergio Leone. He really reveals in this one how he can continue to make a great western without the awesome presence of The Man With No Name. I simply loved the cinematography.
Splendid shots of mountains. Charles Bronson carries a great role with not very many lines but a deadly tune to an eerie harmonica score composed by Ennio Morricone. Henry Fonda also portrays a very sinister villains, which ultimately put him back in his career, and onto my favorites as far as villains go.
