Review of Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) by Ryan G — 18 Aug 2012
I have never seen a director able to capture the breathtaking cinematography that Sergio Leone is able to create. From the opening sequences to the climatic finish, every sound and movement from every actor adds a sense of impending doom for all those involved.
Henry Fonda and Charles Bronson give performances for the ages, whilst Claudia Cardinale's beauty and desire to start afresh provides the perfect on screen counterpart.
A true epic that will last through the ages.
